Introduction

Oscar Petrikas is a passionate and multi-talented young karate athlete based in the UAE. At only 12 years old, he earned his black belt and achieved first place in the UAE Karate Super Cup in the under -36kg category—just three months after beginning his karate journey with SportPT Dubai.

Early Achievements

Oscar’s exceptional focus and rapid progress enabled him to shine in his very first tournament—securing first place in the black belt division after only three months of karate training. With calm, confidence, and strategic control, he won every round, even against more experienced competitors. His poise, precision, and determination clearly proved that true talent, combined with a strong coaching system, can deliver remarkable results in a short time.

Multi-Sport Success

Beyond karate, Oscar has won gold medals in Judo competitions from the United States to Australia and has competed successfully in Jujitsu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Go Karting, Swimming, and Jet Ski tournaments. His versatility and hunger to learn make him one of the most promising young athletes in the UAE.

Future Ambitions

Oscar’s future goals include representing the UAE in international martial arts tournaments and earning recognition as one of the top youth martial artists globally. He continues to expand his skillset by exploring new disciplines, adapting his mindset, and challenging his own limits every day.

Outside the dojo, Oscar is an enthusiastic musician, creative programmer, and a future-minded entrepreneur with a deep sense of purpose and curiosity. He values discipline in every area of his life, including academics and personal development. His journey is a powerful reminder that success isn’t limited by age—it’s driven by passion, consistency, and strong mentorship.
